The Piggy Bank Dinners are hitting the road. The brain-child of Taqueria del Sol will be hosted in Nashville, Tenn. on July 27.This dinner will be the fifth installment in the Piggy Bank Dinners, and the first Taqueria del Sol has held outside of Atlanta. The Piggy Bank Dinners are an ongoing culinary series featuring specialty guest chefs, hosted by Taqueria del Sol co-owners and Southern Foodways Alliance members, Mike Klank and chef Eddie Hernandez, with proceeds benefiting the Southern Foodways Alliance. The Southern Foodways Alliance documents, studies, and celebrates the diverse food cultures of the changing American South.
